[Nahyuta is following his usual evening routine, in the midst of tidying things away in the lounge and kitchen before his evening meditation. When Rayfa approaches, though, the interruption is not an unwelcome one. He stops to turn to her.]

I-- [He's about to protest once again at 'Braid Head', but it's too late in the evening for an argument, so he thinks better of it.] ...I am your humble servant as always, Your Benevolence. How might I assist you?

You will be pleased to hear that I wish to throw a celebration to commemorate my day of birth.

[ she looks so smug about it too. ]

I wish for your assistance in invitations and finding a location. Unless you think our home is suitable for this event.

Ah, how wonderful. [It's easy for Nahyuta to school a smile and act like has no idea what's already being planned. He has more than enough practice of feigning ignorance from back home.]

How many guests would you like to invite? Accounting for your friends here, and those from our realm, perhaps our apartment is too small.

I wrote letters to some acquaintances and friends, telling them I wish to receive a gift from them.

[Nahyuta's smile becomes a more genuine one in return, glad to see she's so happy.]

I will ensure each of them receive an invitation, [The ones that haven't seen Dhurke's invitation already, at any rate,] and ensure you have a suitable venue.

If we were to have a banquet as well, what foods would be your preference?

We once spoke before of sashimi, so I wish to serve that in my celebration. Some traditional Khura'inese dishes, as well. But I wish to eat mostly foreign food.

[ she nods, placing her palms together to clap once. ]

[He inclines his head in return, and as she heads back to her room, he's radiant with happiness -- quite literally.

Seeing how excited she is only makes him more determined, wishing to ensure her surprise party is the best it can possibly be.]
