[As he promised, Dhurke will seek Nahyuta out to have a meditation session with him a few days after the Selenium festival. He can only hope it'll be a pleasant experience without incident. Keeping his body rooted in one place for a long period of time is something he could teach himself to do once more, it's keeping his mind focused on the task that might prove difficult. ]
So, where shall we settle down to do this? [He'll ask once Nahyuta was out of his room. If he had any concerns about this, he's not making it obvious. Although he seem calmer than usual. Then again, he was up earlier than usual in order to do this with his son.]
[Despite the early hour, Nahyuta is already bright-eyed and immaculate-looking as usual as he leaves his room to meet Dhurke, pulling on his sherwani and adjusting his prayer beads. Considering just how early it is, maybe he just wakes up without a hair out of place and jewellery magically adorned, who knows.]
I prefer to meditate outdoors where I might be closest to nature, preferably near the forest on the town outskirts. I trust that is not too far a walk for you?
[This is Dhurke he's talking to, who has no concept of 'too far', but he might as well ask.]
Heh, not at all. Being out there reminds me of when we used to live together in the mountains.
[It sounded like he had already made a few trips out there himself.] You know there's a stream in the forest just to the north of town? It's a little further in, but that might be a good place to meditate. [And clearly he must go out there to fish.]
[Nahyuta smiles at the mention of their time in the mountains, although there's something wistful behind it. Though there were many hardships, he also misses that time, something they can never have together in Khura'in again.
Still, they have the present, and so Nahyuta nods readily in agreement.]
That seems like a pleasant spot. Would you be willing to lead us there?
Of course! And if you want, maybe we can fish out there sometime. [Just like the old days. He's already making for the door to take the lead. Once they're on their way, he'll speak up again.]
So, how you've been holding up since the Selenium?
